‘Rapture’

Rapture’ was sold at a London exhibition, it was hanging in the window overlooking Pall Mall – a couple went past on a bus, and thanks to the traffic they had time to see the painting.  They got off at the next bus stop and walked back to the gallery, came in and bought it. Both of them were knowledgeable art collectors and although they had no wall space left to hang
anything, they had fallen in love with ‘Rapture’ and had to have it.
