‘Earthshine’

‘Earthshine’ was one of two paintings created over the same duration as astronaut Tim Peake was in the International Space Station. The second painting ‘Guidance’ is available and sits within the ‘Daylight’ collection genre, ‘Earthshine’ is the Nightlight interpretation. If you can focus just below the horizon it is possible to get a feel for the curvature of the earth and the idea of re-entering the atmosphere.
