‘Bridge’

At first glance this painting feels auroral and rightly sits within the Wonderment Collection. The painting came from a walk through a valley of a National Trust property where J M W Turner walked and took inspiration. There are many lakes and a small iconic bridge, whilst painting the water and the reflections the palette took on an Impressionist feel, particularly with a nod to Claude Monet.
